So 30 days ago we started EA Active for the Wii on the 30 day challenge. This is a great workout. It’s two days on and one day off to recover. There are three levels of intensity, “easy”, “medium”, and “hard”. Everyday we focus on either, upper body, lower body of total body. There is always a lot of cardio.
At first I never thought I’d be able to make it through. It was HARD and I was on level, “easy”. Yikes I was out of shape. After every workout I would feel like I was dying. About 5 days in, it started to get easier. And half way through I moved myself up to “medium” level. Let me tell you, it was killing me again. But I knew this time that I could do it, I just needed to keep at it. After 5 days into that I would look at the workout and change the intensity according to what I was doing. My upper body was stronger then my lower so for upper body I’d do “hard” level and for lower body I would do “medium”.
So, I am done with the 30 day Challenge. I didn’t lose as much weight as I wanted to but I am stronger and I can see muscles. My clothes don’t even fit me anymore, they are nice and loose.
I will be starting the 6 week challenge this week with the add on cd you can buy in stores. I look forward to this. I have already previewed the workouts and they are even more intense. I hope I’ll loose more weight this time.
My goals for the 6 week challenge-
Down to 215lbs. (currently 228lbs)
Can wear size 16 comfortably (in size 18 right now and are starting to be loose)
By Spring I would like to run outside for 20 min.
