“The Book of Awesome” book review

Today while we were walking around Walmart I stopped by the 30% off book table and I saw a really interesting book cover. the book was called “The Book of Awesome” by Neil Pasricha; also the author of http://1000awesomethings.com. I started reading part of it at the store and fell in love with it. Some of the things in the book will make you laugh your head off and others will make you say, “yes, so totally true”. When we got home I couldn’t put it down and kept saying to my husband, “oh you need to hear this one.” or “ok, last one, no really this time, I promise” LOL! I believe this book WILL put a smile on your face. It’s perfect as a coffee table read. People who come over to your house will have tons of fun reading each page.

Neil Pasricha never imagined that writing about the smell of gasoline, thinking it’s Thursday when it’s really Friday, or wearing underwear just out of the dryer would amount to anything. A self-described “average guy” with a typical 9-to-5 job in the suburbs, Neil started his blog 1000 Awesome Things, as a small reminder — in a world of rising sea levels, global conflict, and a troubled economy — of the free, easy little joys that make life sweet.“

Thank you Mr. Neil Pasricha for bringing “Awesome” back into my life. I really needed it.

You can visit Neil’s website/blog here: http://1000awesomethings.com

You can also buy his “Awesome” book at Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Barnes & Noble, Borders, Chapters.com, IndieBound, Indigo.ca, Penguin and of course if you live in the Waterloo, ON area and visit the Walmart near St Jacobs you can find it there.
