“O SIYAM”- Book Review

posted in book, book-Movie, review on by

I recently won the book called “O SIYAM: Aboriginal Art Inspired by the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games” from Wiley Canada Trade Books facebook page.

I was very excited to get this book. This years Olympics games were the first one that I watch almost all the time and I love that the book is Canadian AND from the Aboriginals.

This book is so amazing. The artwork featured in it is so beautiful. The book is written in English and French. Each artwork has an explanation on the creator, the Aboriginal meaning and how it fits into the Olympics.

I couldn’t stop turning it’s pages and reading and staring at each photo, taking it all in. Such beauty, such meaning, I am in love. I would consider this a coffee table book that your guests will enjoy looking at over and over.

I would totally recommend this book to those who love great art and are interested in the art behind the 2010 Olympics.
