Oh Canada

2 years ago today I was sworn in as a Canadian Citizen. (I still hold my US status, so I’m a duel citizen) I feels nice being a part of a Country I will be living in the rest of my life. It wasn’t an easy or cheap venture to become Canadian but well worth it all. The two hardest parts were the time to took and taking the test. I moved to Canada in 2003 and couldn’t become Canadian until 2008. As for the test, they give you this study book and a question sheet, with well over 150 questions. They tell you to study and there will be about 30 questions on the test. you can get only 2 wrong on the first half and 0 wrong on the last. I made TONS of study cards and studies my bum off. Turned out to be an easy test but I now I couldn’t have past without the study book.

Here is me swearing in-

Getting my papers-

Very Proud to finally be Canadian-

I will leave you with our National Anthem-
“O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.”
