This one will feature two of my favorite companies. It was hard to pick through all the amazing companies I’ve worked with but these two hold a special place in my heart. Freckles Crafts- our story together started with a mistake in a giveaway she held to her sending me an amazing craft to becoming great online friends and support. My original post went up June 4th.
The second company is Lemonpie Handmades- June 23rd. I contacted them a few weeks after they opened, and they were so kind to send me 2 pillows to review, it was to be only one but they wanted to make sure both my girls were taken care of. I love their creations and wish them all the best.
I wish I could re-post almost all of my reviews, I’ve had so much fun with them and the companies are great. You can find my reviews by clicking here.

FRECKLES CRAFTS- June 4th-

I recently received a craft from Freckles Crafts of a Bella The Butterfly Kit. I love crafts and was very excited to do this craft with my 4 year old.

I was very impressed with Freckles Crafts. The kit came with EVERYTHING you would need; glue, paint, paint brush, all pieces were cut out so no need for scissors. The kit came with a directions page with a clear photo of the end results.

It was a rainy day today so we decided to make the craft. I’ve done many pre-packaged craft kits and this one out does them all, even a name brand company I won’t name has nothing on Freckles Crafts. The craft was easy and fun. My 4 year old had so much fun, the only thing she didn’t like was waiting for the paint & glue to dry, but that’s part of any craft, right? (please see a few videos of some of the steps we did)

My daughter is very proud of the first craft she has ever made. She couldn’t even wait for her daddy to come home to show him.

We were so happy with Freckles Crafts that we have bought a dozen Larry the Lion Puppet for an upcoming birthday party.

More from the company:
“I have had a love of crafts my entire life. Creativity is a passion and an outlet for me. I can’t imagine life without a creative outlet and I have been blessed to have two little boys who have taken on my love of crafts and who have begun to develop their own creative passions.

Crafting is an important part of a child’s healthy development. By encouraging your kid’s creativity you are helping to build a wide range of life skills including; social development, fine motor and visual spatial development, skills in planning and completion of tasks, concentration, imagination, as well as a feeling of success and self worth!

I started Freckles Crafts to assist other parents who would love to do crafts with their kids but lack the creative ability to come up with project ideas or do not always have the necessary supplies on hand. So many times I have heard parents say, “I would love to do crafts with my kids but I am just not creative”, or “I just don’t ever have the right supplies to do crafts”. Freckles Craft kits take all the guess work out of doing crafts with your kids. Everything you need is in the kit. All you have to do open the kit and let the fun begin!

In an age of mindless TV watching and video game playing it is important as parents that we assist our children in learning new skills and exercising their creativity. Spending time with your kids doing crafts will build valuable memories for both you and your child. Who knows you might even rekindle you own creative spirit!”

I would recommend this company to everyone. It’s fun, simple and something you can do anywhere.

LEMONPIE HANDMADES- June 23rd-
I am very excited to share with you an amazing store I found on Etsy called LemonPie Handmades. They make “monster pillows” and I received Toothy the Hippo and Leo the Lion. Because I have children under the age of 5 they so kindly made my pillows children safe.

I love these pillows. they are so cute and well made. They are made of soft material that makes you want to melt into them. Lee Lee love hers so much and takes it everywhere around the house and whispers in Toothy’s ears (I think she loves her new friend). And Moo immediately crawled over to hers and laid right down on it. I would give these an A+++ in my books, for quality, cuteness and for passing the kid test.

I also love that fact they are “Made in Canada”. I’m always happy to help promote fellow Canadians. And they are then open to customizing them to be children friendly and eco-friendly(with organic cotton).

I would recommend these for everyone. They would make perfect gifts for all ages.
