So I received my food from the Nutrisystem Canada blogger program on Dec 24th and started on Dec 25th. I know I’m crazy, why am I starting in the middle of the yummiest holiday season? I’m calling it my Christmas present to myself. I’m on this program to change my life for good and part of changing is learning how to handle holidays. Plus my husband put it this way, “why gain all the holiday weight to just have to work harder to get it off?”
So here I go. I will make my next post Saturday, Jan 1st, with a weekly weigh-in along with my thoughts on the foods.
I’ve been doing this for two full days and so far most of the food has been great. I’m a pretty picky eater so some of the foods haven’t sat well, my least favorite right now is the Nacho Crisps, they just aren’t the taste I look for in chips and in all honesty I could finish them. However I LOVE their pizza, honey mustard pretzels, and chocolate muffin. The hardest part of the program for me is eating all my veggies, it seems like so much and really makes me full. But if you look at the Ontario/Canada food guide they are making sure I’m eating the right amount. Plus it’s good to be full on veggies rather then junk food or fatty foods, right?
This is my official starting weight- 242 lbs.
