Well, I survived my first week on Nutrisystem Canada and during the Holidays. I did “cheat” a bit and had a few cookies during the week, but I just can’t resist my mother-in-law’s yummy cookies. I can say I ate waaayyyy less then I would normally, it was tough to resist that much but I kept saying, “do I really need to eat more? Do I want to pay for it later?”. I also “cheated” on Wednesday when my hubby and I went to the movies, I LOVE movie theater popcorn, and we go to the movies about 4 times a year. But other then those cheats I followed my meal plan to the fullest, even with being sick all week. I did not get any workouts in, I was very sick. (in fact all of my hubby’s family was sick, not a fun household)
Foods I LOVE from this week are:
breakfast– Banana Nut Muffin & Cinnamon Bun & Lowfat Granola Cereal
Lunch– Chicken Salad & Chicken Noodle Soup
Dinner– Cheese Ravioli with Basil Tomato Sauce & Thick Crust Pizza & Seasoned Chicken Breast
Dessert– Honey Mustard Flavoured Pretzel Sticks & Cheese Puffs & Thin Mint Crisp Bar
And to be honest I need to share a few foods I couldn’t stand eating. I also wasn’t thrilled with most of my meals having red bell pepper in them, just really can’t stand that taste, but I was able to pick most of it out. Each of us are different, and I know for next time not to order these foods.
Breakfast- Instant Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal & Apple Strudel Scone
Lunch- Cheesy Homestyle Potatoes
Dinner- Pasta Primavera with Tofu
Dessert- Nacho Crisps
Now for the moment we all have been waiting for, the weigh-in. I weighed in at 237.5lbs. For a loss this week of 4.5lbs and a total of 4.5lbs
