Nutrisystem Week #6

posted in food, health, Nutrisystem Canada on by

I had a lot of chances this week to get in cardio, I do steps for 30 mins at night while watching tv, making the time go by faster. It’s hard to do regular cardio because I have some bone spurs in my right heal and stepping down on my foot send shooting pain up my leg. But with that I am still trying to get some workouts in. On Wednesday I did almost 2 hours of shoveling snow, I looked it up and found out I burned over 1100 calories just doing that. We are saving up for an Elliptical, I find my foot doesn’t hurt using one. I was hoping to able to afford to by one this week, but it looks like another month before we can buy one, SO FRUSTRATING to me. I’m working hard at eating well and want to be able to work hard on fitness as well. BAH!

For foods this week I really enjoyed it. I never had a day where I dreaded having to eat, in fact I looked forward to all my meals. One food I feel almost guilty eating but it’s on the Nutrisystem plan is the Double Chocolate Muffin on the breakfast plan. I’m always like, do I really get to eat chocolate for breakfast? mmmm…. Then there is their Cheese Puffs for a snack. I LOVE cheese puffs on a regular basis, when it’s not on the Nutrisystem plan, so to be able to eat one of my favorite foods with the plan is awesome. The Nutrisystem Cheese Puffs taste like the generic kind you can buy at the store only healthier(below is a comparison), which for me isn’t a bad thing.
