Nutrisystem week #9

I loved being able to workout on my “new” elliptical this week. It made all the hard work eating healthy even more worth it. For lunches I like eating their Chocolaty Peanut Butter Bar, I’m always so busy and have no time to cook let alone sit down and eat. Until this last month I didn’t realize that there were more bars I could choose from for lunch. My last order I ordered several Trail Mix Bars and Double Chocolaty Caramel Bar. I am so happy for a change and will be ordering more my next order, they are so yummy. I eat a bar, grab some veggies (2 servings), something either dairy or a protein and my bottle of water and I’m good to go for lunch. I always feel so full after lunch.
It’s not always easy to eat strictly Nutrisystem and because they give you the tools to learn about portion sizes, the right amount of foods and how often to eat you can also make/buy other foods to eat for your day. My friend Susie has this cauliflower pizza crust recipe on her blog. I decided to give it a try. (remember to skip a dairy serving somewhere else in the day and to add a carb somewhere else as well). This was very very very yummy and FILLING. Like she says on her blog, it does stick a lot after baking, and I just scraped it all into a bowl and ate it, felt kind of like eating lasagna. Thank you Susie.

Now that I’m eating healthy AND exercising I’m feel so great, inside and out. My goal is to be down to 175lbs by my 15th class reunion at the end of July. I know that is a very large goal and even if I don’t make it I am going to push myself as much as possible(but healthy). it’s important to me to feel/look great. I was very tiny when I was in H.S. and I don’t want to be one of those people who come back looking unhealthy, fat, and old. (LOL) I will be done with my blogger review well before this date, however we are hoping to save up enough money to be able to continue for a few more months, I really am enjoying using Nutrisytem, and I hope to use the US site for my orders allowing me to order more/different foods.

Now for the moment we all have been waiting for, the weigh-in. I weighed in at 219.7lbs today. For a loss this week of 4.6lbs and a total of 22.3lbs
