Week #13 was just a blah week. I have my surgery on Monday the 28th so I hope after that I can get back to normal on everything including eating. The meds I’m on make me not hungry, queasy, and everything smells/tastes like rubber & metal. Needless to say I didn’t eat in regular intervals like I should to keep my metabolism up and when I could eat I sometimes would just grab for a couple of crackers.
I did try to eat my NS meals when I could, but that wasn’t often. I plan on adding another extra week to my posting because of this week, meaning instead of going to 16 weeks I will be going to 18 weeks. I feel this is only fair to your guys and to the very kind people at Nutrisystem and to myself.
After my 18 weeks I plan on making a month post letting you know how my life after Nutrisystem is and to keep myself accountable to my weight loss journey. My original plan was to go over to the NS U.S. plan and buy it on my own but after this month that will not be possible. Even though here is Canada we get “free” heath care there are things that still cost us money; meds, hospital parking, hiring sitters while I was sick, Chris missing work because of me being sick; it all adds up and in one month we’ve spend over $1200 on this stupid kidney stone, money I was hoping to use towards buying a NS plan. SIGH!!!!
So, hopefully next week I will have a better report. I hope I will be able to eat more and healthier, I hope I can get back to working out and I just hope I can get back to me. I miss me. I’m happy to see I lost weight this week, Just wish I lost another 0.3lbs to make it officially a 30lb loss. Oh well, next week for sure. WOOHOO!!
Thank you Nutrisystem for all you have done.
Now for the moment we all have been waiting for, the weigh-in. I weighed in at 212.3lbs today. For a loss this week of -1.5lbs and a total of 29.7lbs
