Nutrisystem- Week #19 (last post)

Well folks, this is my last official Nutrisystem post. I will post 2 more monthly updates(to show you “life after Nutrisystem”) but there will be no more weekly updates. I’m kind of sad to see this part end, BUT I do have an exciting new challenge coming up that I can’t wait to share with you. It’s another tool to help me on my way to a healthier me. I am only 24lbs away from my ideal weight and I am so thankful to NS for helping me get to my goals. I’ve learned so much from them and how to eat right and stay strong.
Even though I was not able to order this on the Canadian Nutrisystem site my friend Susie gave me a few Pancake Mixes. She also has a ton of great NS friendly recipes to make using the Pancake Mix. One of them I tried was Strawberry Ricotta Layer Cake. This was sooooooo filling, I almost couldn’t eat it all. Plus it was yummy. the only down fall for me was it takes over 30 minutes to make and cook and with our busy schedules it was hard to fit in time to make it, but I’m glad I tried it. I highly recommend you check out Susie’s blog for some amazing meal ideas. Some involve NS foods and some are meals you can make with foods found in the stores. I think I live off her site.

I still have quite a bit of NS foods left over because of making meals that are NS friendly but not with NS foods and because of when I was sick. So I know I have at least another 2 weeks of food to work through, maybe even more. The nice thing is I can spread it out and work with NS friendly meals without using up my NS food “stash”.

Thanks for taking this journey with me. And Thank you Nutrisystem for all you have done. I’m going to miss my weekly posting but I will be back here to share with you my journey to a healthier me.

Now for the moment we all have been waiting for, the weigh-in. I weighed in at 204.4lbs today. For a loss this week of -0.6lbs and a total of 37.6lbs

My current stats (March 19, 2011)-
Height- 5′ 11″
Weight(weekly updated)- 204.4lbs for a total loss of 37.6lbs
Thighs- 23 inches for a loss of 0 inches (total- 1.75in)
Waist- 42.0 inches for a loss of 0.0 inches (total- 5.0in )
Hips- 42.0 inches for a loss of 1.0 inches (total- 6.5in )
Upper arms- 13.00 inches for a loss of .50 inches (total- 1.50in)
