RevAbs day 45 update (half way there!)

posted in fitness, food, health, RevAbs on by

Today is day 45 of my RevAbs journey. I am half way through the program. RevAbs is done by Brett Hoebel & BeachBody.

I am so happy to have made it half way through this program. When I first started I was weak, scared, and not sure I wanted to work out. I’m glad to have taken the “plunge” and decided to review RevAbs. I am stronger, healthier, happier and I have more energy.

I still struggle wanting to do it everyday, but I do it and I am happy every time I do. ~Yes Brett, “it feels good” to finish each workout. The only time I had kid free to workout was during Moo’s naptime, I use to take a nap when she did, so missing that time made me sad and a bit scared. I was sad I was missing out on relaxation time and scared of how tired I would be. I don’t miss naptime anymore. I have tons of energy to get me through the day and even though I am not relaxing I’m doing something for myself.

I get daily comments on how tiny I’m looking and questions on how they can get healthy and fit like me. I blush at those comments, “Really? Me? Tiny? You want advice from me?” I’ve been over weight for so long that hearing those words sometimes doesn’t sound true. Then I look back at how I looked 6 months ago and then look at myself now and I’m in awe.

WOW, even looking at myself 6 months ago makes me sad. I know I’ll never go back there. Brett has given me tools to be able to stay on track, live health and be strong. Every RevAbs video he gives little words of encouragement, helpful tips on how to be successful and also gives some tough love. This isn’t a yo-yo weight loss this is a life change. I turned on one of my friends to RevAbs and she has finished her first week. Her first comment was, “I love it, I have so much more energy”. AWESOME!

In a few weeks I will be traveling for 3 weeks. I’m nervous about this. I’ve been in my comfort zone for most of this journey and now I’m heading into deep waters. I know I wont be perfect with my eating but I’m going to be wise about it. The exercise I hope wont be a problem, I plan on committing everyday to a healthy life. The hardest part is I know there will be some yummy temptations on my trip, I will also feel lazy about cooking. But I hope I come home proud of myself and I hope to be able to show you guys that you can even stay health and fit while vacationing.
