RevAbs week #6 update

Here is my week #6 update of RevAbs by Brett Hoebel & BeachBody. Almost half way there!!!

This week was nuts. I had doctor’s appointments for both girls on Monday, a Toddler Language Studies thing with Moo on Tuesday, Wednesday we had a Wine & Cheese at a specialty store, Friday we had a Bible Study BBQ and Saturday we went to a wedding. Most people would have said, “I’m too busy, I don’t have enough time to work out.” But I didn’t allow myself that excuse, I found time and it felt good. It felt good knowing I was doing something for myself, it felt good knowing I never gave up or into excuses and it felt good being able to show others with commitment you can do it no matter how busy you are. (this coming week is even more busy, eeekkks)
A new workout I experienced this week with Phase 2 was Rev it Up. I tweeted Brett and told him he was really insane. It’s 45 minutes of non-stop moving and Reving it High. Don’t get me wrong I LOVED it. I loved feeling the sweat roll down my back and my heart pumping. I KNEW I was working hard and burning that fat.
When I look into the mirror I still see fat, flabby old me but with help of others around me I’m starting to feel good about how I look. My husband told me the other day, “Wow, your tummy is looking so flat”. My heart skipped a beat with that amazing comment. I’m also getting so many people calling me tiny, skinny, fit. That feels good and I know I still have a long way to go but those complements have really boosted me to want to keep up the hard work. Another thing I’m getting is a lot of people asking me for health and fitness advise. WOW, I don’t feel qualified for that but at the same time I have a lot of knowledge in my head and I’ve been applying it to myself and am seeing results so maybe I can give some advise.

Food wise this week was pretty great. I even started my Shakeology shakes at lunch again. they give me so much energy and keep my carb craving clear away from me. One shake I came up with tasted just like an icecap from Tim Hortons, if you know me this is one of my weaknesses. Now I’m glad to have a healthier alternative. You take your scoop of chocolate Shakeology, a cup of cold coffee, 1/2 cup almond milk and a 1/4 tsp of mint extract and a BUNCH of ice-cubes. It’s so mmmm… I also love the shakes with fruit in it.
I do want to clarify my weight for today, yesterday I went to a wedding. Although I really watched what I ate and cut back a lot I still choose to eat the food, some was salty, others high calories. But I have to say I’m proud of myself. I only ate half of the pasta(I LOVE pasta), only ate half of my yummy chicken and only have of my white chocolate cheese cake. Oh, do you know how HARD it is to only eat have of a cheese cake and watch the rest sit on your plate? With all that being said, I’m sure I lost way more weight then I did. Today I feel bloated and constipated.

The exciting news is on Wednesday this coming week will be day 45! I will be half way through and I plan on making a special post on Wednesday for you guys.
