Moon Dough Magic Zoo & Gomu- review (CLOSED)
“Moon Dough Magic Zoo- it’s the perfect item for kids ages 3+. Launched last fall, Moon Dough became an instant hit with Moms and kids alike! Its soft and marshmallow-like and best of all- it never dries out. The Moon Dough Magic Zoo is brand new for Spring and is a hit with kids as the animals actually walk right out of the zoo with their self winding feet!”
“Next is Gomu, all new for Spring 2011, and it’s the latest craze in collectable erasers. There are over a 100 different Gomu to collect from pets, gadgets, and the zoo there is a Gomu for whatever you are into. Kids ages 6 and up are going nuts for these, trading them with friends and adding to their collection. Best part- they start at just under a dollar, so it’s easy for kids to take their allowance and add to their collection.”
Gomu is a company providing your child with some great collectible erasers. There are so many to collect and at a great price and I think there are more coming out soon. Lee LOVES these and plays with them everyday. She loves to take the pieces apart and make new creations with them too. However that would be the one negative I have about Gomu, the pieces are very small and come apart easily and can be lost easily. But if Lee has her way she will collect them all.
Moon Dough, Magic Zoo is very interesting. It took awhile for me to get use to the feeling of the dough, it was like quick-sand, but now I am able to use it with no problem. The Factory to create the zoo was a bit hard to figure out too, I didn’t realize there was a reset button in order for the mold to pop open and I got frustrated with that. But after I figured everything out Lee and I love to play with it together. There are three different molds and three different colors to use. You also get a fence mold and 2 sets of legs(wish it came with three). You pick the mold you want to use and fill it with the moon dough, then place it in the factory and turn the crank, the mold pops open and the animal walks out of it. How cool is that? Lee thought it was magic.
(THIS VIDEO WAS SHOT BY MY 5 YEAR OLD, LEE. THANKS LEE)
Over all I would recommend these toys but to older kids, maybe older then 7 or 8. The Magic Zoo was hard to work for Lee who is 5 and the small pieces in the Gomu sometimes get lost.
