I am so glad to have had the chance to review these two books from Planet Explorers.
The first book I read through was the Planet Explorers Disneyland. I’ve never been there before but after reading this book I really want to go. And when we do go I will be making notes from this book on where to go, what to see and where to eat. The book goes through each area of the Park, talking about the history of the area, which rides are perfect for who and where you can eat in that area, giving detailed descriptions for everything. I really loved reading all the history behind everything at Disney, it really made things even more real to me.
The other book I got to read through was Planet Explorers New York City. I’ve been to NY before but never experienced it the way it’s presented in this book. It makes me want to go back and see all the attractions we can visit. I can’t believe I never knew of the memorial to John Lennon called Strawberry Fields. That is a MUST see for me.
I love all the info the author provides for all the museums we can visit(including a “what’s cool section”), along with great places to eat while you’re there.
With what I’ve gotten to read about all the great things to do in NYC, I think I could spend a month there and never get bored. And I know I’d bring this book along with me to help me along the way and to make sure I don’t miss a thing.
I LOVE both of these books and I also see that they have several more for other highly visited places. If you’re planning a vacation, writing a paper or are just interested in some cool places I encourage you to check out the Planet Explorers. I think you’re going to love them.
