“Cooper and Me” book review & giveaway

Cooper and Me was illustrated by 11-year-old Alexa Peters and co-written with her mother, Monique Peters. The idea was inspired by Alexa’s own experiences on her first day of school. A talented young artist and writer, Alexa wanted to give back to others in a meaningful way through her art. Starting at a very young age, Alexa created illustrated stories about her daily experiences, and from the pages of her sketchbooks came the idea for her first book, Cooper and Me. “

My Thoughts-
My kids LOVE book and “Cooper and Me” is now another favorite in our house hold. A little girl will be starting school soon. she is scared of all the new things she may encounter and also sad she can’t bring her dog, Cooper, with her. Her mom gives her a special toy to help her feel safe and confident to start school. The book has fun rhymes and is a quick read. The illustrations are totally cute too.
We love this book and can’t wait to check out more. I recommend this book for all families. It’s heartwarming and fun to read together. My daughter, Lee, who is 5, even could read part of it.
