One year ago (yesterday)

One year ago yesterday I took the photo below. I still can’t believe I took the leap to change my life and improve my health then stuck with it. I have my readers, my blog, Nutrisystem, RevAbs, Shakeology and my family/friends to thank for helping me through this. I weighed 245.5lbs a year ago and as of Oct 2011 I had lost 70lbs. I have chosen to stop weighing myself since October only because I realized I was stressing over a 1lb gain, the ups & downs. So now as long as my size 12/14 pants still fit me I know I’m still doing good. (side note when I started I wore size 22 pants) I truly changed my life. I enjoy eating healthier and less and I enjoy being active. In fact on days I eat foods I don’t normally eat much anymore, I feel ill from it. This just shows me that my life has changed.
I don’t ever plan on going back to where I was a year ago. I do know that if i do slip I will look back on my before and after photos from this journey and see that I want to be how I am now.
