ABOUT-
“Sea Turtle Summer” by Nancy Stewart
“Bella and Britt think living by the beach is the coolest thing ever. When they discover a Loggerhead Sea Turtle laying her eggs in broad daylight, the girls go into action to help.
No one, though, seems to care about the nest. The beach is a busy place and is getting busier by the minute on such a beautiful summer day. What can they do? Who will help, and what do they learn about themselves?”

My Thoughts-
WOW, this is a great book. Lee loved reading it with me and asked a lot of questions afterwards about it.
We both loved the illustrations. And I loved what it taught my child. It taught her about endangered animals, the importance of being kind to animals and that you’re never too young to do good in this world.
This was a quick read for us and will be a perfect bedtime story. This book would also be a great book for the classroom as it has a lot to teach kids in it.
I would recommend this book to every family. With Christmas coming this would be a perfect book to put under the tree. Maybe even pair it with the author’s other book called, “One Pelican at a Time”.
