New Year, a NEW YOU- giveaway

As most of you have seen, I’ve lost 70lbs in 10 months and then have been able to keep it off for the last 2 months(click HERE to see my recent post on my weight-loss journey). It’s not an easy task to do and I’ve had a lot of help along the way. It all started Dec 25th, 2010 with Nutrisystem, then went to working out with RevAbs and using Shakeology, to using healthy eating cookbooks and a few other meal plans along the way. This coming year I’m excited to get to review another product from BeachBody, that info will come later.     One of my goals is to complete P90X2 by simply pushing play every day and not giving up if I have to skip a day. I am also transitioning to a healthy vegan diet by including lots of vegetables and beans into my meals.

  34. My new years resolution this year was and still is to quit smoking, so far so good, i’m two days short of having been quit for three weeks. as far as how i’m going about it?! well all i can say is a lot of will power and even more gum! lol

    I was diagnosed with high cholesterol and my last blood pressure reading was way too high. This was a wake up call for me as more than anything I want to see my children grow up and someday grandchildren. I have eliminated all the extra salt I love to use.I am choosing cereals, margarines and other products which help to lower cholesterol and reading labels are lot closer for salt content.

    I am planning on losing weight and getting in shape by cutting out soda and most fast food. I plan on doing cardio everyday and ST 3 x’s a week.

    I want to cut out the sweets from my diet. I have started to cut back but haven’t done that great of a job. I plan to keep a detailed log of what I am eating and maybe some replacements to my usual pig out foods.
