FINAL results! 10 Day Shakeology Challenge with Operation Fit

I first want to thank Crystal of Operation Fit for contacting me about this challenge and encouraging me along these past 10 days. Everyday I had to check in with her with my food diary and exercise for the day. She always had encouraging words to share and great motivational quotes to think about.

The challenge wasn’t as hard as I thought. Most of the foods I needed were foods I already ate. My problem was portions and eating 5 times a day. I set my iPod alarm to go off every 2.5 hours to remind me to eat the next meal or snack. This helped me tons. I did have one day of foods that didn’t sit well with me, but I switched up my meal plan and used foods I was enjoying for the rest of the week. I also celebrated my daughter’s 6th birthday on Saturday and cheated a little, but it’s always good to allow yourself a cheat day every once in awhile, if you don’t you’ll end up binging and regretting it.
I was also required to get physical activity 8 out of the 10 days. This was again easy for me as I workout everyday with the exception of Sundays. Did you know walking 30 minutes is working out? Yep, you don’t need to kill yourself in a gym to get your heart pumping, walking will work for you too.
Over all I loved this challenge and I had some great results(see below). Crystal is taking entrants into the May 10 day Shakeology Challenge. If you’re interested please contact her for details.

MY RESULTS-
Weighed in at 186lbs for a loss of 3.8 lbs in 10 days!!
I did not lose any inches off my waist but I’m very happy for almost 4 lbs in only 10 days. Plus I’m happy to be eating even healthier then before.

Also, I just started using an app called MyFitnessPal to be sure I’m eating enough. Before the 10 day challenge I figured out I was 500-700 calories under the needed calories to lose weight. So, with both the challenge and the calorie tracker I am now on the right track to lose these last 10-15 lbs!! I had hit a plateau for the past 6 months, not gaining or losing any weight, now I’m feeling excited to be moving in the right direction again.
