“Get Skinny” by Scott Schmaltz is a book that takes you through 6 weeks of changing your body, health and self image. Each main chapter teaches you a bit more on how to change your view on being healthy and living a healthy life. It also gives you a fitness challenge for the week and a meal plan to use for each week too.
I found this book very helpful and informative. I’ve been studying health and fitness for the past year and I still learned a lot from this book. Plus it also confirmed what I have been learning about.
Scott uses real people with their real stories of weight loss, body image and health/fitness.I loved this because it made it more real to me. I even found people in the book that sounded just like me, which helped me with keeping up with the hard work I’m doing.
I would very much suggest this book to my readers. It’s a 6 week challenge I think we all should go through. I believe if we keep challenging ourselves with new goals and using new ways, we will be able to reach our health potential.
