My Thoughts-
As a kid one of my favorite, no princess, Disney movies was “The Rescuers”. I loved taking an adventure with these little mice to save the girl from the evil women. So when I heard about the “The Rescuers” & “The Rescuers Down Under” Blu-ray/DVD combo pack I couldn’t wait to share it with my kids. Plus I didn’t remember much about “The Rescuers Down Under” so I couldn’t wait to see it again too.

My kids loved both movies. I was worried they might have too many scarey parts for them, as I remembered it to scare me a bit when I was their age. But they totally loved them and have asked to watch them everyday, lol. The girls call “The Rescuers” the girl movie because a girl is kidnapped and it’s an evil women who does it. They call “The Rescuers Down Under” the boy movie because it’s a boy who is in trouble and it’s a man who is the main evil one.

I think it’s so cute how much they got into these movies. They were shocked when I told them that I loved these movies as a kid. They couldn’t believe they were “that old”. It’s so fun sharing childhood memories with my kids and creating new ones with them that they will be able to share with their children when they get older. I love that Disney movies are timeless and that they can be enjoyed for generations.

Some things I love about this Blu-ray/DVD combo pack. I love that both movies and special features fit on the Blu-ray disk. This way we don’t have to switch disks if we want to watch both at the same sitting. And I’m happy to have the DVD’s of the two movies for our log trips in the car, they will work in our dvd player for the girls.
