When my daughter and I attended the pre-screening of “Finding Nemo” we were surprised with a gift of Brita Water Bottles, sponsored by Brita. I received the Brita Bottle Aqua and my daughter got the Brita Bottle for Kids and pink, plus we got one extra of the Brita Bottle for kids in Green (which is the one you will have the chance to win below). We were very excited about these, I’ve been meaning to go out and purchase one for each in my family, so this gave us a nice start and allowed us to try them before we bought more.
For both bottles you first wash them and then fill them with water and squeeze all the water out. There is black stuff that will come out, that is just the carbon dust filtering out, once you’ve done that it wont come out anymore. Once my bottle was set I filled it and took a drink. I never knew water could taste so differently with just a simple filter. I loved it. I love drinking water anyway but this tasted so much better. And I was even more excited to learn that the filter can last up to two months and that the filters aren’t too expensive to replace.
My water bottle has a soft carrying loop around the top. I love this right now. With being on crutches it makes it so much easier to carry water with me everywhere I go. My daughter loves bringing her water bottle to school and it’s just the right size to fit in her mess pouch of her backpack. Plus I LOVE that the bottle is dishwasher safe and recyclable.
I totally recommend the Brita Filtering Bottles. So many people don’t drink enough water because “it doesn’t taste good” and with these water bottles you won’t have that excuse anymore. This water tastes great.
Plus if you’re very active you need to be sure you’re drinking enough water or else you will tire out more quickly. Below is a quote I found on the Brita site. It’s so true.
