Prayer Notebook iPhone App review & giveaway!
When I was younger praying was easy for me. I was at the heart of everything around me. As a grew up I found myself getting “too busy” and would push my prayer to the side. I would say I was busy, didn’t have time to write it all down, and if I wrote it down I didn’t have my notebook with me to remember to pray. I’m excited to now be able to use the Prayer Notebook iPhone App. It’s easy to set up and if you’re like me you ALWAYS have your phone on you. And although I’m not praying as much as I did when I was younger I have found this app has helped me pray more then I had been the past few years.
Once you download the app it’s easy to set up. When you first go in you will see the main page for the day, you click the the plus symbol in the right hand corner and then can add who you are praying for, add them to a category, choose which days you want to pray for them, add an alert and add what you are praying for. Once you have that saved you turn your phone sideways and it opens your prayer journal. With it in this mode you can scroll through your prayers and then have the option of tweeting/SMS messaging/emailing or marking it as answered. I also love that you can password protect your prayers for those prayers that need to be kept between you on God.
The app was easy to use and set up. And it has helped me remember to pray more often for those I said I would pray for. I’m glad I have this on my phone now and will be adding more to it each day. I look forward to marking each prayer as answered too.
Below are a few photos of what you see when you are in the app. The first photo is the opening page. After that is the page you see when adding a prayer. The next is what it looks like in prayer mode and the option you have after you pray. And the last is the menu page with all the options you have.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
