November 2012- Rogers TV apperance “daytime”

posted in Canada, Kitchener Waterloo, TV Interviews on by

Today I got to be on Rogers Cable 20 out of Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario area, on the show ‘daytime’, this was my 16th appearance on the show and almost my 2 year anniversary with being with them. The show airs LIVE at 10AM and then re-air at 1, 5 & 11.

I was excited for this show for so many reasons. The first reason was I was bringing on all local products/companies. I love to be able to help and support local businesses and why not do it on our LOCAL TV station? The second reason I was excited was this is the time of the year two years ago I first appeared on “daytime”, I still can’t believe I get to do this, way too much fun. And the last reason I was excited is I was talking about some of the perfect “must-have” holiday gifts.

I was last on the show, which is ok by me as I love staying til the end anyway. I love seeing the guest on the show and also seeing the behind the scenes stuff. And today was fun because I was right after a guest I’ve met 4-5 times already being on Rogers, Bucket List Travel Adventures. Someday I will go on one of their trips, looks like way too much fun.

The first company I got to talk about was Bunch-O-Designs, by Julie out of Kitchener, Ontario. She specializes in Crocheted creations, such as hats, toys, key-chains… Her products are of amazing quality and at amazing prices. Plus she sells something for everyone, perfect for the holidays and other occasions.
The second company I shared about is The Nightmare Nibbler. I talked about their new book out that share about where Norbert, the Nightmare Nibbler came from. I love this company and love that they give back to others. The Nightmare Nibbler Project hopes to have a nibbler in the hands of every sick child.
The third product I brought in was a CD by Lindsey Minaker. This is a new Christian CD that was created by a local artist and produced locally and feature other local artists. What an awesome way to support local by buying this CD? Plus I love that this CD’s insert has a littler blurb about where Lindsey’s heart and mind was when she was writing each song.
The last company I share is something I thought of “outside the box”. With all the holiday entertaining there will be a lot of messes. Why not thank your hostess by giving them a gift certificate to locally owned company, Shineco Cleaning Services? They specialize in eco-friendly carpet cleaning. Perfect for before and after the holidays!!

As always I had a blast being on the show. I look forward to having the opportunity to go back on.

Thank you Rogers Cable 20 and Susan Cook-Scheerer. Also a HUGE thank you to Bunch-O-Designs, Lindsey, Nightmare Nibbler and Shineco.

Below are the reviews I did of each product-
