“Abel’s Field” DVD review & giveaway

My Thoughts-
If you’re looking for a good clean family movie, that shares the Word of God this is an excellent movie for you.

The movie focuses around a teenage boy named Seth, and an older man named Abel. Seth has the burden of taking care of his twin sisters after his mom passed away and his father abandoned them. He stays in school while working 2 jobs. But soon the bills add up and they are in trouble. On top of that Seth is not liked a school, not even by the teachers. Seth gets into a fight and is forced to help the grounds keeper of the football field put in a new sprinkler system. This is where he meets Abel. Abel is very quiet about who he is and where he’s come from, but he’s a hard worker and ends up being a person Seth can rely on to help him through it all. Abel and Seth’s pastor have both asked Seth if he has taken the time to talk to “Him” and ask Him for guidance and help.

I thought this was a great movie. It did start out a bit slow for me but I was happy to have stuck around to find out what happens and how God becomes the focus for everyone’s lives. The movie talks about the many paths we can choose from in life but there is only one path that will lead us to good/happiness. If we seek God’s guidance He will help us, and show us who can help us.
I give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars.
