Today I got to be on Rogers Cable 20 out of Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario area, on the show ‘daytime’, this was my 17th appearance on the show (WOW!! I can’t believe it’s been 17 times, feels new every time). The show airs LIVE at 10AM and then re-air at 1, 5 & 11.
This show was a bit different for me. First I had Mark Paine interviewing me, plus I wasn’t really talking about any product in particular. I was on the show to talk about ways to keep fit and healthy in the new year.
Mark had me talk a bit about my blog, where my name came from, how long I’ve been blogging and my goals for the new year. I shared about how important it is to me to not only live a healthy lifestyle for myself but also for my whole family. This year I’m trying my best to provide a meal plan for the whole family. I also talked about how to keep a food journal and why it’s important. I introduced the app MyFitnessPal, as well as keeping a paper journal. I also talked about Energy and Endurance from BeachBody. I love this product for getting the energy I need when I’m going to be doing a tough workout. It doesn’t give you a quick rush then crash. It gives you the perfect energy at the perfect amount of time without any crashing. I also shared with a new community I’m part of called, Mamavation, I feel it’s important to surround yourself with people who have the same goals as you, it keeps you motivated to keep up your hard work. One thing I had come on to talk about is my training for a fundraiser for our local hospital, Spin12. Although it didn’t appear in my segment, Susan and Mark took the time during their middle segment to share about it.
Thank you Rogers Cable 20 and Mark Paine. I had such a blast again. I look forward to being back for Family day, where I’ll be talking about Family Game night, my family will be on with me.
My segment below
(ugh, not liking my look here, I look bloated and puffy, I guess the camera & clothing do that sometimes, just not liking it)

I was not paid to review these items or to come on this TV show. All opinions are my own and may differ from yours. (Just wanted to add I have never been paid for a review or for doing ‘daytime’ Rogers TV)
