February 2013- Rogers TV apperance “daytime”- Family Day

Today I got to be on Rogers Cable 20 out of Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario area, on the show ‘daytime’, this was my 18th appearance on the show. The show aired at 10AM, 1, 5 & 11.

This was a different show for me. My family got to be on with me plus is was pre-recorded at the beginning of the month. Today is Family Day in Ontario, Canada. It’s a day to spend time with your family without having to worry about work or school. For this show I brought is games we love to play as a family.

The first game I talked about is, “Don’t Wake Daddy”. My kids got this game for Christmas and totally love it. It’s perfect for my youngest to learn how to count and learn her colors. The rest of us love playing it and are very competitive and seeing who can make it to the end.
The second game I talked about was a game I reviewed here on my blog called, “Reverse Charades“. The game is played where one person is guessing and everyone else is acting out a word. The game gets pretty silly with everyone interpreting the word differently and trying to get the other person to guess. We love this game for teaching creativity, getting us active and for all the laughter we have while playing.
Lastly I talked about a few xBox connect games. I think video games are ok to play as long as they encourage you to play with others, your family. And with the xBox games we play together and get really active.

I loved having my kids on the show with me. It was different and they don’t know all about keeping at the correct angles to the camera and avoiding getting in the way. But that’s what made this show fun, kids are kids and I love my kids.

Thank you Rogers Cable 20 and Mark Paine and Reverse Charades. We had so much fun.
