May 2013- Rogers TV apperance “daytime”

posted in Canada, Kitchener Waterloo, TV Interviews on by

Today I got to be on Rogers Cable 20 out of Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario area, on the show ‘daytime’, this was my 19th appearance on the show (looking forward to my 20th show). The show aired live at 10AM and re-aired 1, 5 & 11.

I was on the show today to talk about my participation in the Food Revolution day taking place on May 18th at the Kitchener Market. It is going to be a fun FREE event for the whole family. I’m going to have a booth and people can stop by and ask me questions about healthy eating and staying fit as a family. I’m no expert but For the past 2.5 years my family has been learning and getting healthy together. And for the fist 100 people to stop by I have a FREE water bottle for them. I was very glad to be able to share this on “daytime” today.

I also love being on the show and meeting other local companies. There were a huge group of kids on the show today modeling clothing from Siblings and Sears, all perfect for the summer. They can from Expressions by DSK, a modeling agency and training centre. The kids did an amazing job. I’m even thinking of enrolling my girls there for some classes/lessons (my oldest wants to be on TV someday).
I also got to meet, Lisa, from Mastermind Toys. She shared with us some really fun toys for the summer. Ones that can be played with outside and others for a rainy day. What I love is a lot of their toys are extremely educational. I know my girls would LOVE to shop there and I can’t wait to visit. A new store just opened up very close to us.

Thank you Rogers Cable 20 and Susan Cook-Scheerer. It’s always a blast.
