It’s hard to describe how amazing my husband is and I’m sure to forget all the amazing things he does for us. The above photo is just a small sample of how hard he’s been working on his weekends this past 1.5 months to make our yard look nice. He’s put up a fence, built a retaining wall, started a raised garden, built the kids a sandbox and kept the grass looking amazing. On top of that he has cleaned out the garage and hung cabinets to organize everything. That’s just what he’s done for the outside of the house.
My husband works 45-60 hours a week to help pay the bills and so I can stay home with the kids. Since I’ve been sick he has taken over preparing meals, including packing our daughter’s lunch and making dinner. He does the grocery shopping, cleans the house, does the laundry and makes sure the girls get baths. He also cares for our younger daughter’s diabetic needs. Plus he drives all of us to our doctor’s appointments.
Our kids think he’s the greatest dad ever. So despite how busy he is, he still takes the time to make them feel special. I love hearing the laughter from the girls when dad is home.
We have a little one on the way and my husband has been so sweet to rub my feet and make sure I’m comfortable and fed. Here he is rubbing my sore feet after a long day. I know he’s tired but he does this without complaining.
He does ALL of this with little to no complaining. I know he’s tired but he keeps pushing on. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. At times I feel I don’t deserve such a wonderful man. I never know how to make him feel as special as he makes me feel. We’ve been married for almost 13 years and I love him more everyday.
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!! We love you!!
