My Thoughts-
I was very excited to have the opportunity to work with Girls Can’t What? The concept of the company and its products to to encourage and empower girls to follow their dreams and that they can do anything the put their minds to, even if what they want to do is viewed as a “boy” thing. They sell t-shirts, mugs, totes, laptop covers and so much more.

Three months ago our youngest child, Maggie, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. One of the first things that went through my head was all the dreams she had and how she won’t be able to do them. But after talking with many parents with kids with T1D and adults who have survived and have gone on to do great things, I realized my girl can still rule the world if she wanted to. So when picking out a shirt for my review I chose the “Rule the World” t-shirt. The shirt has a double importance to us, not only can she do anything as a girl but she can do anything as a girl with T1D. Even at 4 she is showing us her strengths already, she’s ready to “take over”.

I really love the concept of this company. I believe as girls we are told we can only do certain things. I hope we can change this thought process and have our girls believe they can be and can do anything.

Our t-shirt was made on a 100% cotton Hanes shirt. Which means it’s of really great quality. Almost everything you order can also be customized, we picked the color of the shirt and also added her name on the back. The name on the back really stood out to Maggie, it made her feel important. Our daughter played in the mud with her shirt on, so we had to wash it right away. The mud came out and the print stayed nice. That’s something we always look for when it comes to quality, will the print stay nice after a washing?

I highly encourage all of you to check Girls Can’t What? out. There are products and saying for everyone girl/women out there.
