My kids and I have been wanting to try hair chalk for a long time, so we were very excited to have the chance to work with Kisspat to review their 12 pack of mixed colors. I was very please at how the product was shipped to us. We hear a lot of times people ordering hair chalk from other companies and the chalk comes to them broken. Our was so tightly wrapped that all the chalk was intact.
We tried the hair chalk on my youngest daughter first. She has blond, straight hair. She wanted me to do a rainbow. The instructions say to have hair damp when applying, so I dampened each section of hair as I went. The chalk went on very smoothly. She looked so cute when we were done. The above photo shows what it looks like when it’s wet and then dry. She loved getting her hair done so much that a few days later we wanted a new design.
We next tried the hair chalk on my oldest hair. She has brown, wavy hair. She wanted a blue streak, a red streak and orange tips. The blue chalk didn’t go on a nicely as it did on my youngest hair, but it did show up nice after it dried. With the thicker and longer hair it took longer to work with but we were very please with the results.
Lastly we tested out the hair chalk in my hair. I have very thick, dark, curly hair. It was a lot harder to apply to my hair and I really didn’t like the feel of it in my hair. I think next time I will do smaller streaks, it should help. I did like the color of it in my hair though.
Over all we are very impressed with Kisspat Hair chalk. It was easy to apply. The color lasted a little over a day in my kids hair. And it looked totally cute. I know my kids love their product and are wanting me to design their hair often with the chalk.
