MY Thoughts-
In our house we are HUGE fans of National Geographic Kids and their books. So when we received the “National Geographic Kids 2014 Almanac” we couldn’t wait to read it and look at all the amazing photos.

The book contains different sections or chapters, such as Super Science, Awesome Adventures, and Fun and Games. We really loved the Adventures section and the animal section. My kids couldn’t put the book down. The the adventure section there is a story about the guy who did the worlds tallest jump from Space. Since reading about him my youngest can’t stop talking about becoming an astronaut some day. The animal section has a part that talks about unusual animal friends, such as a goat and a giraffe being best friends. We loved this section because of all the cute photos of animals and how bright the pages were. My oldest LOVES penguins and she loved the section “Meet The Penguins”. She was able to learn a lot about them. I really liked the Fun and Games section. There are silly jokes and fun activities we can do as a family together.

The book has over 337 pages of fun and learning. Each page is packed full of colorful photos and interesting facts. I would not only recommend this book for all families with kids but all classrooms to have it too. I can see the teachers taking it out during a lesson and showing the pictures to them or taking the book out on a rainy day and allowing the kids to have some fun time learning.

This is another A+ book for our family.
