My Thoughts-
“Trapped” by Irene Hannon

Darcy is a sixteen year old girl who lives with her older sister. She isn’t happy with all the “rules” she has to follow so she decides to run away. A storm comes to town before she can leave and she is forced to stay in a shelter or live on the street. The shelter seemed like a better choice and she immediately made a few connections with people. She ends up becoming friends with a man who works at the shelter and he offers to take her to his house so she can be more comfortable and have some real food. She doesn’t realize he has other motives. Meantime Darcy’s sister, Laura has hired a PI firm to help find her. Laura is working with a guy named Dev. Dev is one of the best out there and he really thinks they will find her. Laura and Dev are working very close together and they start to get romantic feelings, but they know they need to keep the relationship personal.

This book will give you chills. You keep hoping for the best and safety for Darcy, you hope that she will also turn to God and realize that He is what she has been missing in life. You also see a romantic relationship build with Laura and Dev, they have strong moral values, along with their professionalism. They too are relying of God’s help to find Darcy and to keep her safe.

This book is a suspense, romantic, Christian story. I couldn’t put this book down. I found myself staying up extremely late reading, wanting to read what will happens next. I LOVED this book and how the author presented the characters and also included God throughout. I know there is another book in the “Private Justice” series and I hope to read that one soon. I really love this style of writing.
