My Thoughts-
“Stranded” by Dani Pettrey Alaskan Courage #3

I’ve been reading the Alaskan Courage series since the beginning. I’m addicted to the McKenna family and each of their adventurous love stories. In this book we are focused on Gage McKenna and Darcy St. James. We met Darcy in the previous book and know she is a reporter. Gage has a distaste towards reporters but for some reason is attracted to Darcy. He tries to fight his feelings to her and towards God. You learn in the previous books that Gage doesn’t believe God is a good god, that if He allows death to happen to the young and innocent that He is not good or loving. Darcy prays for him often and really doesn’t want to be attracted to him until he understands God’s love.
Darcy is invited to report about an adventure cruise that goes through Alaska. Her friend invited her to come with her to help uncover something dark and bad, but under the ruse of reporter. When Darcy boards the boat her friend goes missing. She then realizes the adventure part of the cruise is run by the McKenna family, Gage being the leader. Soon Darcy is in too deep in her investigation and her life is in trouble. Gage realizes he needs Darcy AND God in his life and fights hard to save her.

This book as with the first two are really engaging. I couldn’t put this book down. I wanted to learn more and more and hope that Darcy and her friend will be safe. It’s a great mix of suspense, adventure and romance.

I would suggest reading these books in order, it will help build your understanding of the character. However it’s not totally necessary to read them all to enjoy this one. If you love a good clean romance, adventure story I would recommend this book to you. The writing is detailed and the author knows how to drag you into the story.
