“Unspoken” by Dee Henderson.
Charlotte Graham is at the center of one of the most famous Chicago kidnappings. After 4 long years she is finally rescued. She never speaks a word about what happened, even 18 years later. She is the only one who knows the truth, but is there still a threat out there? Can she risk it?
I enjoyed this book a great deal. It is a perfect thriller with a hint of pure, genuine love. The story line was great, and very detailed. I especially like how the author was able to write such an opening. Describing the relationship between characters in such a way, that it feels like you’re actually watching the relationship grow.
The only thing I do not like about this novel, is the ending. Not because the ending was bad or anything but because I feel I didn’t get everything I wanted out of it. Like ‘what happens next?’ ‘What about the other characters?’
I recommend this book to anyone who likes thrillers, or just a good read.
