My Thoughts-
It’s that time of year again. It’s cold and as a mom of a newborn I need a way to keep him warm in his car seat and a way to be safe. The creator of Peekaboo Poncho knows that need and has invented an amazing product to cover your baby. I had the privilege to meet the creator and I can honestly say she truly understands my needs, she a mom of two and uses the 3 in 1 poncho for her kids.

The Peekaboo Poncho is a 3 in 1 poncho, but I would say it does more then that. The suggestions for use are the following with my thoughts on them.

The first need that I am using now is to cover my infant car seat. This goes over the top of the car seat and does not get in the way of the belts or buckles, keeping my baby nice and tight in his seat. I love this! It’s easy to use, I didn’t need to take my car seat apart to install it and it keeps my little guy nice and snug, warm.

The second use that I’ve only done a few times is using it as an easy slip on jacket. This will be perfect for when my little guy is too big for his infant seat. It easily slips over his head and after I get him in the car it slips off nicely too. It’s perfect for going to and from the car in the cold weather. It’s also perfect for that running toddler that is impossible to get a coat on. The creator of the Peekaboo Poncho demonstrated this use with her toddler, it was quick and easy to get it on.

The third use is for in a shopping cart. I haven’t been able to use it this way because my baby isn’t strong enough to hold his head up in the cart. But I love the concept and it looks easy to use. To use it you “place poncho inside out onto the shopping cart with the zipper completely open. Place the front of the poncho over the shopping cart handle and the back of the poncho on the back end of the seat. Adjust the poncho so that the hat falls out of the front end of the shopping cart.” (info taken from their site, photo below is also taken from the website)

What I love about the shopping cart cover is it keeps your child from touching any of the germy cart and is nice and soft for them to sit in. Plus it keeps your hands off it too.

I would also use this as a sleeping mat for baby while we are out. Of course always keep baby in your sight, but with the super soft Sherpa interior, it makes for a comfy bed.

The Peekaboo Poncho has Velcro straps at the bottom that allow you foot muff on a stroller or when in a shopping cart you can attach a toy to it so they wont fall on the ground. Mine also came with a coat hanger that holds the poncho up in our closet. It also came with instructions with photos on how to use the poncho.

I’m in love with my Peekaboo Poncho. It keeps baby warm with the my Sherpa interior and has a wind & water resistant exterior. It will cover the many needs throughout my child’s life, no need to buy several products to cover all my needs, just buy the Peekaboo Poncho. I also love that it’s not only a Canadian product but also created by a local mom in The Kitchener/Waterloo area. It’s great to support a local company.

Peekaboo Poncho would make a perfect baby shower gift, birthday gift or a just because gift. They also offer FREE shipping in North America!
