At the end of last year Leon’s Furniture had a promotion for their facebook followers to receive two free pillows. I was pretty excited for the pillows, we needed new ones badly. Plus I’ve never been to Leon’s since it was fully remodeled.
At the beginning of December I went in and picked up my free pillows. While I was there they had a draw for a $100 gift card to their store. I thought I might as well enter, even though the basket was extremely full. Later that night I got a call from Leon’s telling me I had won $100 to their store. I knew exactly what I was going to get, a wall mount for our TV for my hubby for Christmas.
I had no clue what I was looking for. The sales rep in the electronics section was very helpful. She didn’t try to sell me the most expensive mount and she made sure it was one that would fit my TV. She was kind, helpful and made me feel important.
I brought the wall mount home and my hubby started to set it up. The wall mount said it was universal, which means it should have fit my TV. However it did not work with our TV and we had to bring it back. I was worried about going back in and having all the hassle of returning the opened mount and then finding a new one. My experience with other stores with returns is they would question me, give me the third degree. They would make me feel bad or stupid for returning the product. At Leon’s Furniture they were so very kind. They allowed me to return it with very few questions and made me feel important while I was there.
We went to the electronic section to find a replacement wall mount. The sales rep that day was so helpful and worked with us to find the perfect wall mount for our TV. He talked with my husband a lot and discussed what was wrong with the other mount and what we would need to work.
Our check out for the new mount went just as smoothly as the first. Everyone was kind and so helpful.

Usually we would never hear from a store after a purchase. Well today we were pleasantly surprised with a “thank you” card. I figured it was going to be one of those generic cards but inside was a hand written note, hoping our new mount worked for us and to thank us for coming in. Talk about AMAZING customer service!!
Our experience was wonderful and the next time we are in the market for new furniture we will be shopping at Leon’s Furniture in Kitchener, Ontario. Thank you so much.
