My Thoughts-
“Shadows of the Past” by Patricia Bradley (book 1 in the Logan Point series)

Dr Taylor Martin is a psychology professor, specializing in the minds of criminals and their victims. When she was younger her father left her and the family. Since then she has had nightmares and bad relationships because of the abandonment she felt. She is also in danger, someone is stalking her and trying to kill her and she has no clue why. She’s usually good at figuring out the connection between a criminal and victim but in this case she just can’t see it. Then you bring in Nick Sinclair, an author and brother of a suspect in many crimes. He has had a hard past like Taylor. He is also falling for Taylor. She’s not sure if she is ready for another relationship yet and he’s not sure if he is ready to move on from his loss.
The story takes us on a high impact adventure through murder, death threats, romance, searching for who God is and so much more.

I couldn’t put this book down. The author wrote the story beautifully, it dragged me in and I couldn’t wait to see who was bad and who was good. And I just HAD to know who Digger is and why he was doing what he was doing. I even ended up tweeting the author because I was so anxious to find out who he was. It was that intense of a book.

I can’t wait for the next Logan Point book to come out. I hope it will include some of the characters I came to know and love. Their storyline’s aren’t done yet. I need to see Taylor find God and go with her heart when it comes to true love. I need to see her friend Livy find happiness too. There is so much more I want to see from the characters in this book, in the next one.

If you love Christian romance, adventure type books I think you would love this one too. I know I’m excited about it. You can also visit the author’s website to find discussion questions you can use with a book-club.
