My Thoughts-
“Miss You Like Crazy” by Pamela Hall. Illustrated by Jennifer A. Bell

Walnut is a boy squirrel, who is worried his Mommy will miss him while she is at work. She tells his that she does and wishes she could sneak him in her purse or trap him in her pencil cup, just to be able to see him at school. She then tells him that she keeps him close with many photos around of him. He is then sad because he misses HER. She finds a way to help him not miss her so much.

This is a very cute book and is perfect for a family with a working mom. It shows that it’s ok to miss someone and that there are ways to think of them throughout the day. I love the little imagination story Walnut’s mommy takes him on when she talks about sneaking him to work. I know I use to wish I could come with my mom and dad to their jobs, I would dream of ways I could go.

The illustrations in this book are totally cute as well. I want to take each image and frame them and put them in my kid’s playroom.
