My Thoughts-
I’m not a good cook. I don’t do well with making up my own meals so it was a lot of trial and error with working with the produce powders from Activz. The wonderful thing is they have some great recipes to try online and when that didn’t work for me I found their customer support very helpful. So I’m posting this review with a suggestion, if you’re thinking of purchasing powders from Activz, pick powders that you’d be more familiar with such as carrot powder. Once you get the hang of using these powders then be more exploring.

Activz powders are “preservative-free whole-food powder line retaining all the nutrition of fresh fruits and vegetables”.

I started out with Organic Mixed Veggie Powder. It’s one of their newer products so they don’t have any online recipes as of now. I tried many meals of my own invention and they all failed. Thankfully I was given several sample packs of other flavors to try and the customer support was kind enough to help me out.

The first powder I used was the Organic Mixed Berry Powder. It’s equivalent to 1/2 cup fresh berries. I mixed mine in with a chocolate protein powder, natural peanut butter, a banana and unsweetened almond milk. This was extremely tasty and I could see me adding it to my shakes every day.

The next flavor I tried out with Organic Coconut Water Powder. It’s equivalent to 1/2 cup fresh coconut water. I added this powder to just water. It was an ok taste, I think I needed to mix it a bit better, it was too gritty.

The next Flavor I tried was Organic Carrot Juice Powder. It’s an equivalent of 1/2 cup carrot juice. I got my meal idea from the recipe page. I added two servings to a bean dip mix. It mixed well and no one even knew I added veggies to the dip. This will be one powder I will be able to easily incorporate into meal time.

The last powder I tried was Organic Beet Juice Powder. It is an equivalent of 1/2 cup fresh beet juice. I followed the Beet Booster Smoothie recipe on the website. It includes a serving of beet juice powder, oatmeal, coconut oil, water and frozen bananas. I’m not sure I enjoyed the oatmeal in it but the taste was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!! I will be making this over and over. I also can’t wait to try this flavor with other recipes.

I am over all very impressed with Activz powders. It’s nice to have fruits in veggies in my home that don’t spoil and can be added to my meals when needed. I will be creating more meals for my family using Activz’s powders and hope to purchase some other flavors that aren’t mentioned above. If you’re looking for a great way to add more fruits and veggies into your meals I would recommend trying out Activz.
