November is Diabetes Awareness Month and November 14th is World Diabetes Day.
I would like to dedicate my blog posts for the month of November to raising awareness to Type 1 Diabetes and products that help us along.
If you’d like to share your type 1 diabetes diagnosis experience or how you live with T1D, please send me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would be honored to share your story with my readers.
I would also love to review products for T1D children/families/parents… My daughter has a pump and wears it with a pump pouch, do you make them? I’d love to share your company on my blog.
We also have the need to carry around a blood glucose meter, log book, juice boxes and emergency insulin pen. Do you have a product that would help with organization and/or carrying around these products? We’d love to review your product and share our thoughts about them on our blog.
If you have any other T1D products (jewelry, med alert bracelets, awareness clothing, toys, etc…) that help with daily living with it or raise awareness of T1D, please feel free to contact us. email@example.com To learn more about how reviews work on my blog please click HERE. Thank you.
My Daughter was diagnosed March of 2013, at the age of 3.5, she is now almost 5.5 years old. Below is a photo of her pump site in her tummy and a doll with a pump pouch like her that someone made for her.
I’m excited to announce that my daughter and I will be appearing on Rogers TV, “daytime” on November 14th. We will be talking about the signs & symptoms of Type 1 Diabetes, the treatment for t1d and debunk some myths about having type 1 diabetes. This is very exciting, happy we can spread more awareness to this disease.
