My Thoughts-
“Yuletide Ice Cube Fair” by Karen Poth, VeggieTales book is 24 pages long and has a soft cover and it’s size is 8×8. It will make a perfect stocking stuff this year for your little ones or VeggieTales fan.

Bob and Larry are holding a ice sculpting contest. The Veggie gang gets to work on creating their biggest and best design. The judges go see them all, it’s Junior’s tiny-tiny sculpture that wins. It captured the true meaning of Christmas, a manger with Jesus.

This book is very cute. It is written in rhyme, making it an easy flowing book to read to my kids. It kept their attention. I also love that the book shines a light on the true meaning of Christmas. I had asked my kids which one they thought would win and they thought for sure it was going to be Larry’s large, 12 Angels. They were shocked but also excited to see Junior’s Jesus sculpture won. We sang Away in a Manger after that.

If you’re looking for a new Christmas book to add to your shelves I would suggest VeggieTales’ “Yuletide Ice Cube Fair” as one of them. It’s got bright and fun illustrations, it’s fun to read and it share the true meaning to the Christmas season. The end of the book even has Luke 2:10-12 written on it. This book is a great way to spur up discussion.
