I’m into my first week on month two on the Shake the Crave challenge. My goal is still to loose 15 lbs this month, that would be a little over 3 lbs a week. I fell a bit short this week but I wasn’t too far off and I know if I keep pushing myself like I did this past week, I can make up the difference later.
This week was my best eating week. It’s gotten easier to follow the plan and stick to it. The only day I failed was Saturday but that day was one of the most stressful days I’ve had in a long time. It’s still not a good excuse to eat bad, that’s how I got overweight in the first place, allowing myself to stress eat. I know I’m going to have more stressful day this coming week, and my goal is to not let that mess up my weight loss journey. If you could say a little prayer for our type 1 diabetic child that would be great, her blood sugar numbers have been terrible and we’re having a hard time figuring out what is wrong. Thank you.
Last week I asked you guys to challenge me to workout more. A few of you did just that and I’m happy to say I pushed myself harder then I had been, even adding elliptical to my daily workout routine. I think this is why I was able to loose a bit more weight then I had been. So, thank you to my readers for kicking my bum into gear. I plan on doing what I did last week and hope to add more time to each day.
I’ve been sampling out some new recipes for another challenge these past two weeks for dinner time. Being part of both these challenges has made it even easier to eat healthy all day. Dinner is the meal I hate dealing with the most and with new ideas I’m finding it easier to eat healthier.
