I am part of Mom Central Canada’s Campbell’s Soup test group. I’m not required to make any blog posts or social media post but there are some of these meal that are just too good to not share.
This past week I prepared Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce. The prep for this meal was quick and easy. I just chopped the veggies, dumped the cans in and cooked up the ground meat. I then added them all into the slow cooker and let it do all the work for me. In total it took me 10 minutes to prepare and 8 hours in the slow cooker.
The house smelled amazing all day and we couldn’t wait to taste it. The recipe for us made enough for the four of us and enough leftovers for one more meal. My family and I LOVED this sauce, the flavors were perfect and my husband was happy to have meat in it (I hate ground meat but I loved it in here). My daughter asked if she could have spaghetti for her school lunch.
Will I make this again? YES! I plan on making a double batch, dividing it and freezing the extra for weekly meals. The only thing I would do differently from the recipe shown would be to cook the carrots and celery before adding it to the pan, they were a bit crunchy for us.
Thank you Mom Central Canada and Campbell’s.
