My Thoughts-
“Samantha Sanderson Off the Record” book 3 By Robin Caroll

I’ve read the first two books in the Samantha Sanderson faithgirlz! series and fell in love with these books from the start. Off the Record is another fun adventure pre-teen book.

In this book someone has tampered with the students’ grades. Sam is asked to cover this story for her school’s paper, mainly because her father is the police officer on the case. Sam’s friend, Makayla, is a computer wiz and helps uncover who is behind the grade tampering. Sam learns to question her reporting ethics when one of her friends were accused of the crime and she knows it’s not her. She also learns about loving your neighbor, even the ones not really your neighbors. So this includes an ex-friend at school.

This is another fun mystery story. There are great biblical lessons learned throughout the book including- forgiveness, kindness and loving the unlovable.

I said this before, I can’t wait for more books in their series. I’ve given these book to my 9 year old and hope she loves these stories as much as I do. These are books I know my children can read and get good things from, plus it will help their imagination soar.
