My Thoughts-
I LOVE tea. It relaxes me, gives me that warm cozy feel and at times energizes me. I was excited to have the opportunity to work with EnjoyingTea.com. They sent me 6 samples, Vanilla Rooibos, Organic Slimming Oolong Tea, Jasmine Green Tea, Roasted Mate Chai, Keemun Black Tea and Earl Grey Black Tea. I will post photos of each tea and their leaves and let you know my thoughts about each. My tea package came with detailed instructions on how to best brew my tea and for each flavor. I followed these instructions how they were written, below are my thoughts based on these brewing tips.
Earl Grey Black Tea. You use 1 tsp of tea leaves in an 8 oz cup of hot water, steep for 3-5 minutes. This photo doesn’t show how cool the tea leaves look. They have blue and yellow leaves in amongst the brown/black leaves. The aroma was very pleasant. This tasted like regular earl grey tea but a bit richer. This would make a great morning tea.
Jasmine Green Tea. You use 2-3 tsp tea leaves and add it to 1 cup hot water and steep for 2-3 minutes. I love green tea and was looking forward to trying this tea. I really didn’t like the flavor of this tea. It seemed a bit more bitter then I was use to for green tea. It smelled really nice though.
Keemun Black Tea. You prepare this the same way you prepare the Earl Grey Black Tea. This is another great breakfast tea. It’s rich in flavor and the aroma is refreshing. It’s similar to the Earl Grey tea but with a more sharper taste to it.
Roasted Mate Chai. You add 1 tsp of tea leaves to 1 cup of hot water and steep for 3-5 minutes. I’ve never had Chi tea before and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to try this EnjoyingTea.com tea. This had a spice flavor to it. To me it was almost like black liquorice taste. This is a tea I will love to drink while taking a hot bath and reading a book.
Organic Slimming Oolong Tea. You add 2 tsp of tea leaves to 1 cup hot water and steep for 2-3 minutes. The Oolong tea had a very subtle flavor to it. It’s nice to drink anytime of the day. I really didn’t notice if it was bitter or sweet, it’s that subtle of a flavor. I like to drink this tea once a day, usually with my lunch.
Vanilla Rooibos. You add 1 tsp of tea leaves to 1 cup hot water and steep for 3-5 minutes. This was my FAVORITE tea! Not only does this tea taste like vanilla, it also has some almond pieces in it, for that extra boost in flavor. I can see myself drinking this tea while sitting on our deck, in the evening. It is very calming to me.
I’m over all impressed with all the teas from EnjoyingTea.com. I love that the teas came with detailed instructions on how to get the most out of my teas. I love the variety of flavors they have. I would recommend checking out their website, they have so many teas to pick from and even sell tea pot, infusers and so much more. I now have many teas on my wishlist for Christmas and my Birthday. I hope you check them out today, it’s a tea lovers dream.
