My Thoughts-
The Biggest Story: How The Snake Crusher Brings Us Back To The Garden” by Kevin Deyoung, illustrated by Don Clark.

We’re always looking for books to help teach our children more about the Bible, God’s Word. “The Biggest Story” is a great book for our family to read through. The book is a simple version of the fall of man, the sin of man and the saving of man. The stories are short and make it easier for kids to understand what God’s word is saying. The illustrations are fun and whimsical.

We love this book. I plan on reading bits of it before bedtime. Not only is it a great book to share The Biggest Story of all time (God’s Word) but it also is a great way to introduce Jesus in to our children’s lives, talking about how He has crushed the snake’s head by defeating the wages of sin. There is also a “for the parents” section at the back of the book. The author tells us why he wrote this book and how the idea of writing this story came about.

It’s hard to really describe this book and do justice to how great it is. It’s a book like I’ve never read before. It’s unique in it’s approach in telling the stories of the Bible. The images are different and very artsy. Altogether the book is one I’m glad to have in our collection and I would recommend every family to buy a copy. Below is a small sample of what the inside of the book looks like.
