I am happy to start my Holiday gift guide posts with Build & Imagine StoryWalls play-set, Malia’s Beach House. This toy has been a HUGE hit in our house and I’m sure it will be a huge hit for other households this holiday season.
Malia’s Beach House comes with Malia and her friend Skyler dolls, 17 dual-sided StoryWall building panels, and over 40 magnetic accessories, including 2 cute kitty cats. The pieces come in a nice sturdy box that works perfectly for storage. The small accessories are magnetic and stick to the dolls and walls of the house. The pieces are small so be sure to have a baggie handy to put them in after playing.
To start out we pulled each of the walls out. I had each girl build a level of the house the way they wanted to. They loved that each wall was double sided to they can design the inside of the house anyway they want. And they really loved that the house had a real door that opened for the dolls to go in and out. The house looks strange from the outside because of the double sided of the walls, we even ended up with a sideways garden because the other side was stairs. My girls didn’t care though, they said they wanted a real house that looked like this.
I played with the house with my girls for about 30 minutes and then I let them play by themselves. They ended up playing for 3 hours in total and only stopped because we told them it was time for dinner (that’s 3 hours of playing & laughter, no fighting!). After they cleaned up they asked if they could play again after dinner. I told them that they already played for three hours and they said “it only felt like 20 minutes”. So of course after dinner they played until bedtime. They really love this play set and already asked if there are more and they want them for Christmas. There are two more sets as of today that we can get Marine Rescue Center and Day At The Beach. We can’t wait for even more to come out.
I love that the Build & Imagine StoryWalls play-set are easy and fun to play with. The walls stay together with magnets, no skills required to build them, just line up and they stay together on their own. I also love that the Build & Imagine play-sets allow for my kids to build without the worry of making the house”perfect”, they loved the unique look of the house. There are small pieces so I would recommend this play-set for kids 4-10. My 6 year old and 9 year old both LOVE it. If you’re wanting to get all three sets they also sell them in one bundle, easy shopping.
I’m glad we have been introduced to this new learning play-set. I hope you’ll check out Build & Imagine StoryWalls play-set. Please tell me which one or ones you think your children would love.
