My Thoughts-
It’s that time of year when my kids are thinking about what they want Santa to bring them. They have asked for more Frozen toys. My girls are obsessed with Disney’s Frozen and still dance around singing the music. I don’t mind it because I can see the joy in their eyes and I love the laughter it all brings.

Jakks Pacific Canada has released 2 great new Frozen toys just in time for the holiday season.

frozen-jewelryMy girls have fallen in love with their musical “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” jewelry box. We see Anna and Elsa as children building Olaf. The box comes with one drawer, a sparkly ring and 3 AA batteries. The bottom of the box has an “on/off” switch so it doesn’t have to be on all the time. The drawer can hold jewelry or as my daughter came up with, doll shoes & accessories. I even though it would be a great place to store all their stickers they get from school, dance, church, the doctors… There is a button on the top of the box that starts the music. The song is played while Anna and Elsa move around to build a snowman. Below is a short video of my kids reviewing the jewelry box.

frozen-elsaThe other Disney’s Frozen toy my girls have had a chance to review with me is Sing-a-Long Elsa. She comes with a microphone, sparkly shoes, a cape and 3 AAA batteries for the doll. (you will need to purchase 2 AAA batteries for the microphone.) This toy has an on off button so it’s not accidentally bumped and plays while in the toy box. To play you press the crystal on her chest. She invites you to sing along with her. You tilt the microphone to Elsa’s mouth if you want her to sing or you put the microphone to your mouth to sing solo. The tricky part is tilting the microphone enough to get Elsa to sing. But once you figure it out, it’s fun and easy to use. My girls love taking turns singing through the song with Elsa. And when they mess up they have fun giggling at each other. The laughter from them playing with this toy have filled the house.

I am sure both these toys will be on many Frozen fans lists.
My girls said they should make a singing Anna and Hans, “Love is an Open Door” dolls. And they hope they will make a musical jewelry box with more drawers and mirrors.
